What matters to us
Where stories come from
NewsModerly brings together reporting from established newsrooms and useful specialist sources. We favour genuine journalism and relevant subject expertise over filling the feed with every available press release or low-value source.
What NewsModerly adds
We organise stories into useful categories and topics, prioritise the interests you choose, remove subjects you explicitly exclude, reduce duplicate coverage and create concise overviews that surface the important names, facts and context.
How AI is used
AI helps NewsModerly classify, group and summarise reporting. It is used as a tool to make published news easier to navigate — not to invent events or replace the underlying journalism.
Because stories develop and summaries are intentionally shorter than the source material, the original publisher article remains the place to check exact wording, evidence and the latest update.
One story, not five copies
When several outlets are covering the same event, NewsModerly can group related coverage instead of filling your feed with near-duplicates. Where multiple sources matter, source attribution stays visible.
Your feed is shaped by you
Choose categories, favourite subcategories and your own keywords. Exclude people, topics or themes you do not want. Save what matters. Dismiss what you are finished with.
NewsModerly is designed to help you finish reading the news, not keep you scrolling indefinitely.
Original reporting stays one tap away
NewsModerly is a layer for discovery and understanding. It does not claim to be the publisher of the journalism underneath a story. When you want the complete report, open the original source.
Publishers, paywalls and rights
Publishers keep the rights to their journalism, photographs, brands and media. NewsModerly does not remove or bypass publisher paywalls or access controls.
If something looks wrong
Tell us. If a summary, category, image or source association appears incorrect, send us the story title and what you think needs fixing. We want the product to get better when users spot a problem.
